Terms of service
Last updated: 2026-10-20
1. Who you are dealing with
These terms are between you and Computer Engineering Inc. (DOMAINSunder), Alberta, Canada. By ordering a service you agree to them.
2. Domain names
- For .ca domains you must meet CIRA's Canadian Presence Requirements and agree to the CIRA registrant agreement. Other extensions follow their registry's rules and ICANN policies.
- You own the domain as the registrant. You can transfer it away at any time; we provide the transfer code after we confirm you are the registrant.
- A domain is registered only after payment. Renew before the expiry date; a domain that is not renewed stops working and may be deleted by the registry.
3. Hosting, email, DNS and website builder
- Use the services lawfully. No spam, malware, phishing or content that breaks Canadian law.
- Keep your passwords safe and your software (for example WordPress) up to date.
- We keep backups, but you should keep your own copy of anything important.
- We may suspend a service that harms our systems or other clients, and we will tell you why.
4. Billing
- Prices are in Canadian dollars, plus GST. Services are paid in advance for the term you choose (1 month to 10 years).
- Free domain transfer with hosting or email: one .ca, .com, .net or .org domain per website or email plan paid for 1 year or more. The year added by the transfer is included; renewals are at the normal price. If that plan is cancelled in its first year, the transfer is charged at the normal price.
- We send renewal invoices before the end of each term. Unpaid services may be suspended and later cancelled.
- Domain registrations are not refundable once registered. Hosting can be cancelled within 30 days for a refund.
5. Liability
We work hard to keep everything running but cannot promise the service will never be interrupted. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the affected service in the last 12 months.
6. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and of Canada.
