Our upstream provider is testing UPS functions. We do not expect any downtime, however it could happen.
"Please be advised we will be doing scheduled UPS maintenance during the following window:
Monday September 24, 2012 7 PM MST - Monday September 25, 2012 12:00 AM MST
This maintenance is required to perform hardware maintenance and apply firmware updates to our UPS system.
In order to perform the hardware maintenance the UPS unit will be placed on maintenance BYPASS and de-energized for portions of this window during which time there will be NO UPS PROTECTION. Due to the lack of UPS protection we will be running the facility on generator power for the duration of the maintenance in order to provide a higher level of reliability.
This maintenance is NON SERVICE IMPACTING and we do not expect any service interruption. We do however strongly recommend customers take appropriate precautions for the possibility of a power loss due to the nature of the work being completed.
Our staff will be on-hand for the entire maintenance. If you should need remote hands support it will be provided free of charge but please schedule it as far in advance as possible."
