Suspended dot-ca Canadian domain names
If your dot-ca domain name has been suspended, then it is usually because you have not renewed your domain name registration, and CIRA has suspended the domain name. This usually results in your email, webhosting, and all other services being suspended.
CIRA will give you 30 days to pay domainsunder.ca and your domain will be reinstated within 24 hours of payment.
A payment for un-suspending your domain name will also extend the domain name registration.
After the 30 day period, CIRA will cancel the domain name and release it to the general public in a process called TBR, or to be released domain names. This is done on a first come first serve basis and we do provide this type of service.
Canadian domain name hosting and suspended domain names
If you host with us, you will also have to pay for the domain hosting charges to un-suspend your domain name. Note that dot-ca domain name renewal is now included in the webhosting plans.
suspended Canadian domain names without hosting
If you are not hosting with us, but have a domain name with us, then you can renew with the emergency dot-ca Canadian domain name renewal form and please be sure to fill in the "domain name" field on that form.
