According to "The American Genius", a popular social media news service, "Google Webmaster Help forums have been littered with discussions over the last two weeks about Wix sites that have disappeared from the index. The search engine has issued an apology for the hassle, and told Wix users that they’ve taken another thorough look at the set-up of Wix sites. There may be a delay, but Google is working to resolve the issue on their end by reprocessing all affected sites.
For any Wix users unsure if your site has been affected, now is the time to take a look at your site’s search data for anything fishy. Ask yourself: Is there decline in index counts in your Google Search Console? Is there a sudden decrease in traffic from Google Search? You might also try performing your own Google search to see if your website can be accessed."

ICANN has introduced a new policy that makes Canadian domain names more attractive than ever.
Effective immediately, titleholders that have not paid for their .com domain name renewals in time are subject to large fees. Our .com business partner now charges $100USD for removal of redemption status for a domain name, and some registrars charge as much as $250USD.
CIRA, or the Canadian Internet Registration Authority, is in charge of .ca or Canadian domain names and is governed by Industry Canada and not ICANN.
As a result, .ca Canadian domain names are not subject to such policy as those applied to ICANN domain names from the current generic top level domains .biz, .com, .info, .name, .net and .org.

A history of the Internet will tell you why ICANN, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, has always been so heavily based in the United States of America.
ICANN is a non-for-profit agency responsible for releasing domain names to the popular generic top level domain (gTLD) dot-com through corporations known as registrars and registries.
This quarter's official ICANN meetings, sponsored by the Canadian Internet Registration Authority, overseer of domain names in Canada, will be held in Vancouver, Canada to discuss, among many other things, the relationships that ICANN has with its USA corporate affiliations.
A representative of Computer Engineering Inc. operating as DOMAINSunder.ca will be at the domain name conference. "This is a fantastic opportunity for Western Canada and domain names in Vancouver and Canada", says CEO Lowe, "and we will be there to answer anyone's questions".
A representative will be on site starting Thursday and will meet with interested parties at the conference through thier toll-free number (see top of this page for number).
